Description
Our privacy laws are based on the assumption that if we are properly informed about the processing of our data, we can make valid choices. But when AI knows us better than we know ourselves, the very premise that we can make valid choices is undermined. In her TEDxAmsterdamWomen talk, “AI is not good or bad, but it is also not neutral,” Lokke Moerel discusses why AI is only as good as the data fed to the algorithms, and why we need a paradigm shift in thinking about how to remain human in a world governed by data.
