Description
The inaugural edition of the CLMC Speaks Symposium was organised with the intention of creating a platform for the students of the Erasmus Mundus International Master in Children's Literature, Media and Culture (IM-CLMC) to present their thesis research undertaken in the last semester of the programme. These theses, written by students based in five partner universities in Glasgow, Aarhus, Barcelona, Tilburg and Wroclaw transcended national and disciplinary boundaries and covered a wide range of topics pertaining to children's literature and media, interpreted broadly.
The themes for the 2021 symposium were as follows: a panel titled Pedagogy & Picturebooks on Wednesday the 15th of September, and a panel titled Media & Participation on Thursday the 16th of September. The symposium took place over Zoom, hosted and moderated by founding members of the CLMC Alumni Association.
