Description
This talk was designed to promote the Algorithmic Thinking course in the A.I. minor program. I talk about the current obsession with classifying A.I. as (humanly) intelligent; how was this framed historically? Who benefits from this framing? I give some code examples to show how programming gives insight into the workings and complexity of such systems.
