Description

This guest lecture explored a number of intellectual property rights which restrict use of data by third parties, such as database protection, copyright protection, contracts and trade secret laws. This prepared students to better evaluate when, how and against what kind of uses are certain data protected and how they can successfully navigate through this legal landscape.
