Description
Loom is a practice for cultural transformation that taps into place-based interactions and multispecies engagements to imagine a better world. As climate change continues to rapidly alter this riparian environment, Loom’s Rhine River Rehearsal project strives to develop methods for studying and better understanding changing landscapes, with the goal of imagining more enduring futures across human and more-than-human worlds. In a keynote lecture at Tilburg University in spring 2025, René Boer and Katía Truijen of the Loom collective shared their interdisciplinary approaches for encountering the changing environments and landscapes along the Rhine River. This article offers an overview of their talk and resources for further exploration.
