The Université Jean Moulin Lyon III (Centre Lyonnais d'Histoire du droit et de la Pensée Politique) hosted my research in the Archives Municipales de Lyon. I focused on the procedural documents and judgments of the Tribunal de la Conservation and the Juridiction Consulaire. The goal was to find the ideas of merchants regarding customary norms in the early 18th century.
