Workshop on the concept and regulation of data protection

Description

The workshop aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of data protection and data protection law, encourage critical thinking, and facilitate discussions on the normative and regulatory dimensions of data protection. Participants will benefit from the expertise of scholars coming primarily from the field of law, but also from other disciplines like philosophy, political science, sociology, or computer science. The knowledge gained will be instrumental to systematise the various postures about the fundamental character of data protection and its regulation for the furtherance of academic discourse and the shaping of future data protection law policy.
