Description
Annotated and analysed data from observations carried out within the CASA MILA project. The observations concerned natural multimodal interactions of infants (aged 13-18 months) from three different cultural communities (in the Netherlands, rural Mozambique and urban Mozambique).
Focus of the analysis concerned verbal and non-verbal communication in three cultural learning environments.
Method: Natural longitudinal observations in the field.
Universe: 12 Dutch infants (and their caregivers).
14 rural Mozambican infants (and their caregivers).
14 urban Mozambican infants (and their caregivers).
Age range 13-18 months old.
