Personal profile
Research interests
My expertise is on the intersection of (economic) geography and public administration. The PhD project I am working on focuses on the way multi-level governance processes are organized around different policy areas.
Currently I am working on a paper on the organisation of the Regional Energie Strategies in the Netherlands. I focus on how the strategy was developed both by regional actors as well as in connection to actors outside of the region.
Also, I am working on a project at the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL). This projects aims to create an overview of the challenges of multi-level and multi-actor governance in different policy areas, such as energy and nature. In addition, I research the changing role of knowledge in addressing these complex societal challenges.
