Research interests
I investigate new ways of organizing, relationships with society and technology. Sometimes this involves long-term strategy (foresight). My areas of theoretical interest include institutional theory, professions, value and valuation and field change.
Career
Prior to my PhD, I worked on new product innovation and product marketing at HERE, the location division of Nokia, and represented Nokia in a European Commission partnership, serving as chair of the citizen focus action cluster. Earlier, I co-founded a geography and technology education nonprofit in Chicago, and wrote case studies for the UNDP on inclusive technology-enabled businesses.
