Research interests

My research focusses on machine-driven online security; it aims to improve online security by applying machine learning to protect from clear external threats, as well as maintenance of personal security by assisting and informing on online latent information-sharing habits. This implies dealing with large volumes of textual and visual information, and thus requires complex multi-modal approaches---specifically from the areas of representation learning---and applying adversarial and generative models, as well as computational representations of semantics in (visual) online communication.
