Research interests

Dimitra is a doctoral researcher at Tilburg Institute for Law, Technonogy and Society (Tilburg Law School). She has a background in Law (Democritus University of Thrace, Greece) and she is specialized in Communication Law (University Paris II-Assas, France). She worked as an associate at the Hellenic Audiovisual Institute (2009-2011), focusing on legal research related to the audiovisual sector and the privacy issues on the internet. In 2011, she was admitted as a trainee at the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS). Before joining Tilburg University, Dimitra worked as a legal researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Law and Technology (ICRI) at the Law Faculty of KU Leuven (Belgium) on European research projects. Currently, she is working for the "Cloud Accountability Project" (FP7  research project).
