As professor of technological innovations in health care Eveline Wouters is connected to the Technology Innovation Network of Tranzo. Her work focuses on the acceptance of innovations, especially technological innovations, by individuals and organisations in the context of healthcare. Research addresses factors that influence the use of technology by individuals, as well as process changes in health care organisations by disruptive technology, and knowledge of perspectives of different stakeholders as a result of new forms of collaboration including the use of technology.

 

Eveline Wouters is lector at Fontys University of Applied Science and involved in several (amongst others, PhD) projects. Topics are: technology use in health care, e.g. in dementia, stroke, older adults; user practices in the design of technology; multi stakeholder perspectives; technology acceptance theory, Normalisation Process Theory; research integrity; digital divide and health inequity.
