Research interests

I am a PhD candidate working on serious games, complex decision-making, and expertise. My research interests mainly gravitate around decision-making, philosophy of science, psychopharmacology and, machine learning. During my academic career, I achieved a B.A. in Philosophy, an M.S in Cognitive Science and Applied Neuroscience at the University of Milan. More recently, I graduated from the University of Tilburg attaining an M.S in Communication and Information Sciences (Track: Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence). When studying in Milan, I joined a research group using ketamine to treat pharmaco-resistant depression. In Tilburg, I started to work on video games to track decision-making processes and moral decision-making. Currently, I am working on a project concerning the use of serious games to capture expertise and train new employees at the Port of Rotterdam.
