Research interests

Gijs van den Heuvel is a PhD researcher at the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Faculty of Military Sciences of the Netherlands Defence Academy. He holds a MSc in Organisation Studies from Tilburg University. His research focuses on information sharing in military organisations and balances on the intersection of Organisation Studies, Information Systems, and Science and Technology Studies. Gijs is particularly interested in the sociomateriality and multidimensionality of information sharing in networks. He conducted research in a variety of military organisations in Europe, the United States, and Afghanistan.
