Research interests
My dissertation focuses on monetary theory, for wich I use micro-founded models of money and banks. This allows one to understand how the need for money affects economic performance, what the role of banks is, and how government policies can improve or worsen economic outcomes. My broader research interest is in the field of macro-economics and especially the use of micro-foundations in macro-economics. My supervisor is dr. Burak Uras.
