Personal profile

Research interests

I examine the associations between psychological factors (stress, emotion regulation, psychological mindedness, mindfulness) and health, such as cardiovascular function and quality of life. In addition, what are the interrelationships between the above mentioned psychological constructs? For instance, do persons who are not attentive to their inner psychological processes have a higher risk for stress-related complaints?

Nyklicek is the coordinating professor of Introduction to Psychology and Health. In addition, he supervises students for the Research Practical, Bachelor thesis and Master thesis.
