Research interests

In his work, Raab tries to understand how (policy) outcomes and (public) services come about through the joint efforts of actors in the public, non-profit, and private sectors. He analyses inter-organizational networks in different settings with quantitative and qualitative methods. He currently is involved in the EISON project on the supervision of and in organizational networks. More generally, he focuses on the governance and effectiveness of purpose oriented networks. In addition, he just completed a book project on "Organizing for Sustainable Development".

Teaching

Raab has been teaching the following courses in the Bachelor and Masters programs of the Organisation Studies department:  Interorganizational Relations, Research Methods: Network Analysis, Master's circle for thesis supervision. In the Bachelor Global Management of Social Issues he teaches in the courses Wicked Problems 101, 201, 301 and International Organizations. He also supervises students and teaches Introduction to Organization Theory in de Public and Non-Profit Management program at TIAS School for Business and Society.
