Research interests

My research focuses on employer contributions to secure employment, either within or outside organizational boundaries, for employees who are vulnerable for unemployment due to organizational restructuring. The research question is: In what ways can employers contribute to the employment security of employees who are vulnerable for unemployment and, under which circumstances do employers make these contributions?

The funder of the PhD-research is the Province of Noord-Brabant. To provide an answer to the research question as stated above, I have set up and carried out a large survey questionnaire among over 7000 employers operating in the Brabant region. Subsequently, I have conducted several interviews.

In addition to various scientific and societal publications, I have presented my work on multiple conferences:
