Personal profile

Research interests

My main area of research is, broadly speaking, at the intersection of personnel economics and managerial accounting. More specifically, my research interests focus on the design and effects of performance and potential evaluation systems as well as managerial incentive structures. I concentrate on the effectiveness of talent management practices (i.e., the identification, development, and retention of talent) with special attention to the role of managers in employee skill development, thereby supporting internal labor markets and leveraging an organization's human capital.
