Research interests

Jules van Binsbergen is part-time Professor of Finance at Tilburg University. His main position is at Stanford Graduate School of Businesswhere he is Assistant Professor of Finance.

Jules van Binsbergen's current work focuses on asset pricing, in particular consumption-based asset pricing, return predictability, and quantitative portfolio management. Some of his recent research focuses on the implications of good-specific habit formation for asset prices, and the interaction between cash flow growth predictability and stock return predictability. Professor van Binsbergen?s research has appeared in leading academic journals, such as the Journal of Finance.
