Research interests

As a PhD candidate at the Department of Public Law & Governance, I contribute to the project 'Judicial law-making in a global legal order: Rationalization, participation and the role of scientific evidence,' led by Professors Rob van Gestel and Jurgen de Poorter. In my doctoral research, I investigate through a comparative case law analysis the roles of scientific evidence and empirical data in administrative cases of public interest and the potential of evidence-based reasoning to build the legitimacy of court decisions.
