Research interests

Koen van den Oever is an assistant professor at the department of Management (School of Economics and Management) at Tilburg University. Koen's research is centered around three main topics: interorganizational relationships (IORs), strategic decision-making, and board of director composition. In short, Koen uses a behavioral lens to study when organizations engage in IORs, the influence of board of director composition on the strategic decision-making process, and how different forms of decision-making affect organization's behavior in IORs. On top of that, he teaches the course Strategic Consultancy and supervises students in writing their master thesis.
