Research interests

Linda Hummel is a GZ-psychologist and psychotherapist in training to become a clinical psychologist at GGzE. She is a registered supervisor with both the VGCt (Association for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and the Dutch Association for Schema Therapy. In addition, she is affiliated as a scientist-practitioner with the Tranzo Research Centre at Tilburg University and with the Evidence-Based Management research group within GGzE. Linda is also involved in the national initiative Topklas, in which members combine a specialized training program with a PhD track focused on relevant topics within mental healthcare.

Her doctoral research is centered on the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in mental health care, specifically investigating the development and application of an AI-based suicide risk predictor in clinical practice. For this project, she works closely with the data science team at GGzE to collaboratively contribute to the responsible and effective use of AI in mental health services.
