Career
Luciënne Heerkens has worked many years as a manager within health care organizations for people with an intellectual disability. Since 2011, she is affiliated with the Academic Collaborative Center Living with an intellectual disability (Tranzo, Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Tilburg University) and as of 2018 she became the knowledge manager of the Academic Collaborative Center. Her main task is to maintain close contacts with the participating health care organizations within the Academic Collaborative Center and to disseminate evidence-based knowledge to these health care organizations.
