Research interests

Maarten Houben is a PhD student at the Eindhoven University of Technology and a researcher at TRANZO Scientific Center for Care and Wellbeing, Tilburg University. He is currently researching the potential of sound and soundscapes in design of technology and services for people living with dementia. With a background in architectural engineering, he is interested in designing and evaluating ambient technologies and interactive spaces that have a meaningful impact on vulnerable user groups.
