Personal profile
Research interests
My research is situated at the intersection of accounting and entrepreneurship. I empirically study the role of accounting information in young companies, ranging from initial rounds of financing to IPO processes. More recently, I am engaged in studying nonverbal communication and its effects on both firm and managerial-specific outcomes. During my PhD studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra I visited the Accounting Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler Business School).
