I started my PhD on September 1, 2016, on a regular PhD position financed by the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency ("Planbureau voor de leefomgeving", PBL). The position is part of a joint project between PBL and the Tilburg Sustainability Center (TSC). My supervisors are prof.dr. D. van Soest and dr. B. Vollaard, and my co-supervisors from PBL are dr. J. Bouma en prof.dr. H. Vollebergh. I use field experiments to analyze the effectiveness of (government) policy on habitual behaviors that have an impact on the environment, such as household energy use and household waste management.
