I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance at Tilburg University. I am a financial economist with primary interests in empirical corporate finance, especially behavioral finance and innovation.
My job market paper studies the role of cognitive biases in regulatory decisions. I show that in-group biases affect patent examiner decisions and are costly for firms, startups, and the quality of innovation in the economy.
