• My research project is entitled: The Preliminary Reference Procedure and Direct Taxation. The aim of my dissertation is to lay down how this essential mechanism for the development of EU Law – the preliminary reference procedure – deals with the cases in the field of direct taxation. By analyzing the preliminary rulings in this field, my thesis will shed light on the meaning of judicial cooperation between the Court of Justice of the European Union and the national courts.

• My duties consisted of advising on tax planning and regular tax compliance concerning Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Non-Resident Income Tax, and local taxes. I also performed tax audit and due Diligence Review of companies.

• I was specialized in analyzing tax implications of merger and acquisitions deals. Likewise, I continued to furnish advice on tax matters such as Corporate Income Tax, Non-Resident Tax, VAT and Personal Income Tax, as well as to assist clients in tax audit procedures before tax administrations. I could strengthen my professional skills on filing administrative claims and appeals.

• I provided advice to national and foreign clients within all branches of tax law. I was mainly dedicated to carry out tax audits and due diligence review of companies to identify the principal tax liabilities and international tax planning.
