Research interests

Robert Dorschel is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Tilburg. His research spans the fields of digital labour, culture, and social inequalities. In his dissertation, Robert analyzed the professional workforce of so-called “tech-workers”. He is currently working on how digital and ecological developments connect to relations of inequality.

Robert conducted his PhD at the University of Cambridge after studying sociology and political science at Duke University, Humboldt-University Berlin, and the University of Kiel.
