Research interests

My research focuses on the role of religion on major cultural figures throughout history. I am especially interested in their conceptions of God, personal theological reflections, spirituality and adherence or resistance to the religious orthodoxy of their contexts. My current work focuses on the religious thought of Henri Nouwen and Vincent van Gogh.
