Research interests

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Cognition at Tilburg University. My research focuses on risk and uncertainty communication. More specifically, I study (1) how people think and feel about risk and uncertainty information and how those thoughts influence their decisions and behavior, and (2) how we can best communicate such complex statistical information to help people make sense of risk and uncertainty data.
