Research interests
My research concerns the classical tradition of metaphysics, in particular Thomas Aquinas. I am interested in Aquinas and in his thought of being as a sort of counterpoint of modern philosophy in which the metaphysical motif of being has been lost. For me, the question of metaphysics is not only historical, but includes its possible systematical fertility with a view to what is more in truth and meaing than human construction.
I also write about topics from the philosophy of religion, in particular about the meaning of religion in the modern secularized world.
