Personal profile

Research interests

I conduct research on acceptance and implementation of consumer ehealth technologies. As a behavorial scientist I have acquired funding for me and others (data scientists, designers, PhD students) to work on these projects:

- Leveraging big data to promote adoption of eHealth apps by consumers;

- Incorporating dynamics of dementia in the design of eHealth solutions and services;

 - Translating technology acceptance research in a more personalized delivery of assistive technology.

I have written a PhD thesis on sustainable technology acceptance by community-dwelling older adults. This thesis is titled "Understanding technology acceptance by older adults who are aging in place: a dynamic perspective" and can be downloaded via www.sebastiaanpeek.nl
