Career

Sotiris has graduated with a First Class degree in law from the University of Leeds in 2020, followed by an LLM in Legal Practice and being called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn in 2021.

In 2022, Sotiris completed his training at a Cypriot law firm and was subsequently admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association. Alongside his professional career, he began his doctoral studies at the University of Tilburg's Department of Public Law and Governance, with a research focus on academic freedom of expression.

His current practice areas include regulatory compliance, data protection, and commercial litigation. Since April 2023 he has been appointed as a National Representative for Cyprus to the Young Lawyers' Committee of the International Bar Association and an ex officio member of the Young Lawyers' Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. 

His research interests centre around cryptoassets, money laundering, and freedom of expression.
