Research interests

Stéphanie Bijlmakers is Assistant Professor at the Tilburg Law and Economics Centre (TILEC). Her research focusses on transnational regulation and governance. More specifically, she analyses the origins, adaptability and over-time change of private and hybrid regulatory bodies in the area of manufacturing with respect to crisis events, and the role of the law. This analysis covers both theoretical and empirical aspects, and is conducted within the framework of ‘The Resilience and Evolution of Economic Activism and the Role of Law’ (REVEAL) project co-led by Prof. Panagiotis Delimatsis.
