Personal profile

Research interests

My research mainly focuses on (close) relationships, like romantic relationships and friendships. I am fascinated by the ways people protect and maintain their close relationships in the realm of threat, such as interpersonal conflict, and attractive alternatives. I love to conduct research on the interplay between social cognitive processes and interpersonal processes.

Specialties: Close relationships, executive control, forgiveness, infidelity, sacrifice
