Research interests

 

Tine Buyl is an Assistant Professor of Organization Studies at Tilburg University (the Netherlands). She received her Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp (Belgium). Her research focuses on Chief Executive Officers, as well as on the composition and dynamics of top management teams and their effects on organizational processes and outcomes. Her work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Long Range Planning, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Strategic Organization, the British Journal of Management, and the European Management Journal. She is an active member of the academic community, serving as a host and co-organizer of workshops on Top Management Teams and Business Strategy Research under the umbrella of the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM), as well as co-chairing a track on Top Management Teams and Business Elites at several editions of the European Academy of Management's conference. She is also the National Representative for the European Academy of Management.
