Ultimus/ultima is the second-highest ranking doctoral graduand, who is the last to be conferred with their title in the Conferment Act at the doctoral conferment ceremony. The Doctor Ultimus/Ultima also gives a speech in the ceremony. The eleventh Conferment Ceremony for the Faculty of Law, University of Helsinki, June 15–17, 2023.
