Cognitive processes in the understanding of causal relations: interactions between structural, lexical and conceptual information

    Project: Research project

    Project Details

The central question of the project concerns the relative influence of specific syntactic, semantic, pragmatic and conceptual information in understanding successive clauses. All previously mentioned types of information provide clues on how to relate clauses to each other. It is a question what division of the labour is between these different kinds of information.
