Judgment of children's literature to be used in primary education mostly takes place on the basis of easy to get, but partial technical reading measures. This project is aimed at the development of a broader theoretical framework for qualification of children's literature to be used in primary school and a study in which the framework is tested on the basis of a comparison with the reception of children's literature in the general Press, the literary Canon in primary school and on the developing reading experiences and book preferences of primary school children.
