    Project Details

    Description

This project deals with pragmatic aspects of text structure, in particular with information distribution. The research consists of corpus-analytic and experimental investigations of adverbial relations. The question is which factors determine the syntactic form (main clause or subordinate clause) and the position (main clause first or subordinate clause first) of the information.
