    Project Details

    Description

It is a few years since western firms were able to
gain access to the Central and Eastern European
markets on a large scale. It is therefore interesting
to investigate how Dutch firms have entered these
markets and how successful they were in doing so.
Which factors explain the difference among firms? And,
more specifically, which types of previously acquired
experiences (with, for instance, cooperating with
partners, or operating in an unfamiliar national
culture) are of influence on the performance of the
    foreign venture?
