Description
Conceptual and empirical studies on intergenerational processes of language maintenance and language shift are carried out in an international context of migration and minorization. Major areas of research in a comparative European context are the relationship between language vitality and ethnocultural identity of immigrant minority groups (youngsters and adults) in general and Turkish youngsters and adults in particular.
