Project Details
Description
Based on the theoretical observation that systematic management for environmental, quality and/or working conditions issues should match the situation and interests of companies to become and remain effective and profitable, the research tries to establish the necessary links at two levels: First, it looks into how well the relevant strategy or policy of companies matches the situation and interests they have regarding these issues. Secondly, it looks into how well the organizational climate, as defined by culture, structure and technology, supports the implementation and execution of such a strategy or policy. The prime characteristics of such policies considered are the orientations on assurance, improvement and/or renewal of standards.
