    Description

    This project aims to apply and further develop 'memory models of language', which model language processing through generalisation from convention by a combination of creative reasoning by analogy, based on nontrivial similarity functions, with adequate representations of language data that takes into account the context needed for task-specific reasoning by analogy. Two language processing tasks are consideren: fluent text pronunciation and dialogue act classification in spoken dialogue.
