    The project is oriented towards the study of the role and the (relative) weight of language (both L1 and L2) as an influential, educationally manipulable independent variable on the school achievement of non-native Dutch speaking immigrant pupils and nonstandard Dutch speaking indigenous pupils, both at the start and at the end of primary education.
