Description
Now that a naturalistic-inductivistic defense of scientific realism seems to be available we must consider the relation between a naturalistic scientific realism and Putnam's internal scientific realism. Putnam argues that metaphysical realism is untenable and naturalism impossible. However Putnam has never explicitly denounced his formerly defended scientific realist position. This makes his work a target for a naturalistic-scientific realist attack.
