Ownership structure as a mechanism of corporate governance: A game theoretical exploration and cross-country empirical testing

The project combines empirical analyses with theoretical modelling. The project adresses the role of ownership structure in various corporate governance systems, in particular transition economies. The output of the project will be a set of papers analysing variousd facets of ownership structure. Apart from a theoretical contribution, it should provide interesting empirical evidence with respect to the issues studied, based on cross-country data.
